Olivia Wilde is hyped about her new movie, Booksmart!
The 35-year-old actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to fill in as guest DJ and promote her directorial debut, in the episode airing Friday (May 17).
Booksmart is a teen comedy in the vein of classics like The Breakfast Club and Fast Times at Ridgemont High, according to Olivia.
The first-time director treated Ellen’s audience to a special new trailer for the movie, which stars Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein as two seniors who spent their time in high school studying instead of partying and decide to change that in one epic night.
Olivia had one other major surprise for Ellen’s studio audience – she gifted each of them with a $150 Fandango gift certificate to go see the movie opening weekend.
